Creating Safer Spaces for LGBTQ Christians

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Throughout history, the majority of the church has failed to follow Christ by honoring the image of God in LGBTQ people. Christians have used theology, politics, and social pressure to work against the flourishing of LGBTQ people—and the damage that has caused cannot be undone with a simple change of tone or a casual shift toward acceptance. In this workshop, we will explore the kinds of spiritual and structural changes necessary for churches to become safer spaces for LGBTQ people.
